25 Man Heroic Raids

With the SGA already clearing OS and the Vault on heroic and 2 10 man groups have now cleared naxx, I believe it is time to start thinking about the heroic raids. I need to see who is interested, what days, and what roll you will be playing.

I have Maygor and soon will have Aaki. My intention was for aaki to be holy.

I heard talk about it in the SGA chat the other night and got me thinking, how many people would be willing to run a 25 man run? If I could get enough ppl I could just upgrade my 10 man run into a 25 man and pull together some folks who would be interested in leading class roles. Shout out if you're interested and I'll do some homework to get ready for it

Next Official Bug Run

Well i don't know when it will be, you'll have to ask the tour official organizer : Xar !

Anyway, today's run was a TON of fun and though we only wanted to kill trash mobs to get bugs for everyone (see pic link below) we did also try to get a few bosses just to see if we could 10-man them (please note : not everyone was lvl 80, there was a bunch of lvl 71, 72 etc...) and we "chaotically" did :

Skeram, the bug trio (Yauj, Kri & Vem), Fankriss, Sartura & Huhuran. Twin emps we tried twice but there is a "little" learning curve for the tank transition when they blink so for now they survived he he.

Since tooling around Northrend I've started noticing a sharper-than-usual drop in the number of healers around...just wondering who's left, and how you're finding things...or who switched. Seems like a lot of people are ex-healers these days. My former comrades/colleagues have moved onto bigger and better things, it seems...

Normal Naxx Regular Group

I am going to try throwing together a normal Naxx group.
This is meant to be a consistent group and will probably pull from non SGA sources (in fact at least one of the invites is non SGA). The build up will be 2 tanks, 2 healers and one off healer, and 5 dps (2 melee and 3 ranged prefered).
If it continues to go well we'll do 10 person onther raids as well on a second day. Let me know and I'll add ya =D

Naxx10 results so far

Here is a summary of our Naxx10 results for anyone interested.

Spider Wing cleared
Construct Wing cleared
Military Ward cleared (Four Horsemen is an awesome fight)
Plague Wing Noth down (Heigen is so gonna die)

This leaves us 4 bosses remaining. Heigen and Loatheb in the plague wing as well as Sapphiron and Kel'Thuzad in the Frostwyrm Lair.

Grats to the loot winners. I am looking forward to seeing the remaining bosses go down. As we go to work on Heigen we definitely will be breaking out the dancing shoes.

SGA Clears Vault and Sanctum (Heroic)

Tonight myself and 24 brave SGA'er ventured into Wintergrasp and pushed over the Vault Keeper, it's true, the bigger they are, the more they drop >.>

Then we went to play with the Dagron under Wyrmrest, after kicking his drakes around like it was no ones business, Sartharion decided to slap us around a few times in retaliation.

On our 4th attempt on him, we finally emerged victorious!

I'd like to put out a big thank you to the SGA folks that showed up tonight to make this happen!

Raids week of 12/7

I would like to hit up Naxx tomorrow night(wednesday) starting invites between 6:30 and 7 server time. I would like to run through the 4 bosses that we did last week and then start working on Heigen.

On Saturday night(maybe 6st?) I would like to go take out Archavon and Sartharion. If there is time and people are willing we can then go back to Naxx and continue on. I would like to take Sartharion down with no adds up the first time and then leave 1 add up each week until we can reliably start looting mounts.

After Christmas I suspect things will get a little more set.

Please indicate your intrest and availability for these nights.

I am considering putting together a consistent naxx10 run starting as early as this week. I would like to see who all is interested and your availability long term as far as days/nights and times. As of now we will likely be looking for healers and DPS. I am specced feral and believe I have another tank lined up.

We would need you to be geared appropriately for the instance. We have already cleared the spider wing with no trouble so gearing would need to be more towards the Abomination wing/Death Knight wing.

Our intentions will be to put together a solid group that hopefully can merge with another consistent group or two to move onto 25 man content in fairly short order.
